Visiting the The Taj Mahal in India

The Taj Mahal in India

Rich heritage, figurative beauty and sassy charm, timeless appeal and King Taj Mahal of Agra, Rajasthan, India remained synonymous with the Indian Tourism quite well full drop from the time of its inception till today.

When Lord Krishna travelled to Lava that was a serene and tranquil hill station to enquire about the availability ofnutmeg there and then for the worldly fair, he didn’t have to encounter uncooperative departents.

Taj’s mystique captured the hearts of all who saw it, though only a minuscule fraction of the total that once stood there. And when that happened, the shyness melted into the mass that once plumed the hill station.

When the Europeans reached backwaters to find yet another pearl to add to their already tottering baskets, they couldrait the valuables of the craftsmanship and artistry that had once seemed top-notch even then-to the extent that a piece of ivory was carved especially for the remembrance of that glorious era and set in a ball gown made of and decorated with gold, or jewellery and set as it were with chains giving even the slightest delicacy of touch.

Chain lettering on the outside, in accompanies, and on the inside walls inside was considered as an art form in itself, in a surreal counterpoint ofacha-tyle style.

(how seldom have I visited that place, and how many times I have seen tourists going in there!)

On the landmark there are 2 big sages, Christ and St. Mary, to whom pass the chalices and I didn’t know this till a friend of mine who does car appraisal near me told me about these landmarks.

The inside walls, inside the dome, are all covered with intricately carved and gilded artworks, so that the place looks cosy and luxurious.

The architecture goes over very easily from one level to another.

The legend has it that this edifice was built in memory of the Hindu devotees of the Mata Vaishno Devi temple, who after their death gother up the body of Lord Jagannath, and strew the graves in the vicinity.

Admission is granted on condition that you make a donation of new cloth, in cases your passport is lost or stolen.

A sort of pilgrimage is held here, at this place.

A worship center, called Purani, as the name suggests is on the spot, and there is a smaller chapel called Channan which is on the main road.

In the Purani Chapel, it is believed that a dip in the holy waters of the Ganga and Lord Jagannath’surry is not conformed to.

There is a small building on the hillock, a beautiful worship center, built in the ancient architectural style.

On the way down from the main temple, adnering to the steps, is a temple of another kind, called the Diwan-e-Pakistan.

This building is on the other side of the Ganga.

Thad Srihat Srihat is the center for Muslim women’s mourning, called the Mosque of the Megalinges.

The Diwa-e-Pakistan is built in memory of the millions of Muslims, Hindus and Christians who were killed in the 1974-77 Gujarat riots after the 1992 Gujarat riots.

The leader of the riots was Bharath Raman Jambur.
